What are Troy ounces?

All precious metals are measured in troy ounces. A troy ounce is a tad bigger than an avoirdupois (regular), ounce. One troy ounce is equal to 31.1 grams. One avoirdupois ounce is equal to 28.35 grams.

Do you melt silver spoons and coins to make the bars?

No, silver spoons and coins are not pure silver and we are not set up to refine. All our bars are made from .999 fine silver shot.

What do you mean by premium over spot?

All silver products sold are based on the silver spot price, which is the current market price, plus a premium depending on what kind of silver you are buying. The spot price for silver fluctuates on a minute to minute basis. The premium accounts for the costs to turn silver shot into bars and rounds.

How do I activate my account?

The instructions to activate your account will be sent to your email once you have submitted the registration form. If you did not receive this email, your email service provider’s mailing software may be blocking it. You can try checking your junk / spam folder or contact us at info@bisonbullion.com

How can I track my orders & payment?

After logging into your account, the status of your order history can be found under My Account ----> My Orders. A tracking number will be given to you after your order has shipped.

How do I cancel my order?

Due to ever changing market prices canceling orders may be subject to fees. If payment is not received or you cancel the order then you will be responsible for cancellation fees. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders paid via Credit/Debit card or Paypal should arrive in 3-4 days. If a bar you ordered is not in stock it may take a few extra days to be made. We have most bars in stock and they will ship the next day. Orders paid via check/money order will arrive in 8-16 days. We hold all checks/money orders for 7 business days after receiving them to verify funds.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping charges are based on weight. Orders weighing under 15 avoirdupois ounces are $3.99. Orders weighing 1 -5 lbs are $8.49. Orders weighing 5.1 lbs and more are $16.95.

How do you ship my orders?

All your orders are shipped insured and with tracking via USPS.

What are the payment methods available?

We accept Credit/Debit cards, Paypal, and checks/money orders. There is a 3.5% processing fee for orders placed via Credit/debit cards and Paypal.

What happens if there's been a delivery mishap to my order? (Damaged or lost delivery)
